MHAES and our Veterans assistance fund

The Mental Health Association of the Eastern Shore (MHAES)is proud to work with area Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) throughout the Eastern Shore to help veterans in need. We assist local veterans in crisis whose VA benefits are pending or whose VA benefits do not cover a crisis situation.

MHAES also hosts an annual Veterans Resource Fair in various locations throughout the year. In 2017, we are planning Resources Fairs with our VSO partners in all five mid-shore counties. We will post on our Home Page and Facebook once the dates have been set.

MHAES would also like to thank the following organizations who have donated to our fund the last several years and have been instrumental in keeping our fund alive and able to help our veterans.

  • Rotary Club of Easton - Flags for Heroes Program
  • Bay Region Antique Automobile Club
  • Cover Your Chin for Charity
  • VFW Post 5118

Also, please note that for this fund only, MHAES takes NO Administrative Funds. All donations go into a separate dedicated account with the sole purpose of helping our vets.
