EASTON – It may be cold outside, but the testosterone was pumping inside Saturday evening,
Jan. 14 as many of the area's most manly men showed off their ability to grow whiskers at
Waterfowl Festival Headquarters on Harrison Street.
“Cover Your Chin for Charity” is a wintertime beard-growing contest that is in its fourth year.

a simple joke about facial hair bragging rights...
Mental health association announces name change:
EASTON – The Board of directors for the Mental Health Association in Talbot County voted in
October to officially change the name of the organization to the Mental Health Association of
the Eastern Shore, effective Jan. 1.
"It was time for this change. Our programs, advocacy and educational activities have taken place throughout all counties on the Eastern Shore for quite some time. We think this change will more adequately reflect who we are and who we represent," said Hope Fulton Leuchter, Board president...
EASTON – The Mental Health Association of the Eastern Shore in partnership with Chesapeake College will host a multimedia-traveling exhibition, Michael Nye's Fine Line, Mental Health, Mental Illness, at the Chesapeake College Learning Resource Center May 5 through June 5, 2017.
The opening reception is May 5, from 6 to 8 pm and will include a talk and refreshments. Admission to the exhibit is free.
